sphere baller is our high-level, fast-paced 3-team experience designed for advanced players looking for more fitness, more touches, and a stronger push. this format uses 4v4 small-sided play with three teams rotating nonstop, creating constant movement, minimal rest, and a higher tempo than traditional pickup. each round runs to 2 goals or 4 minutes, keeping the flow sharp and the energy high.

recommended player standard to ensure the best experience for everyone, players should be able to:

  • juggle the ball 17 times in 1 minute

  • complete 17 burpees in 1 minute

  • complete 10 controlled touches end-line to end-line in 1 minute

this standard isn’t meant to exclude—it’s to make sure the right players are on the field so the class delivers what it promises: high-level play, high energy, and a premium sphere experience.

🕒 format

  • 60-minute session

  • 2 or 3 rotating teams (switch every 4 mins or after 2 goals)

  • 12 players or less (4 vs 4)

  • add 1-4 burpees when a team gets scored on if only 2 teams and no rotations (8 players or less)

🔁 style of play

  • set teams rotating every 4 minutes or 2 goals (whatever comes first)

  • if tied the longest team is off

  • a team can only stay 3 games in a row and must rotate off after to let others play

  • focus on touches, teamwork, and movement

  • smaller court, small goals, weighted size 3 ball

⚽ game rules (on the field)

  • stay on your feet and out of the goals

  • no defending in corners and easy on the sidelines

  • keep the ball on the ground. no long shots or passes

  • for a goal to count the entire team must be over the half-line

  • shooter shags. leave the ball behind the goal

  • we have a few different colors but we’re all on the same team, please check your ego on the sideline
