Our programming
example schedule
this sample weekly schedule shows how facilities partner with sphere to activate underutilized field time—without adding operational burden.
across weekday evenings and weekends, sphere programming fills traditionally empty or low-yield hours with high-energy, community-driven soccer experiences. Each class is coach-led, professionally run, and designed to attract consistent attendance from adults, families, and local athletes.
how it works
week 0 — onboarding
your facility is qualified, contracted, and equipped. gear, systems, pricing, and communication are in place. nothing launches until this step is complete.
week 1 — leadership, setup, starting 11
a head captain and assistant captains are assigned and trained. membership pricing, schedule, and operations are finalized. a starting 11 is built to fill early classes.
week 2 — kickoff
the first class launches. content is captured, signups happen on-site, and the weekly schedule is locked.
target: 10–20 paid members.
week 3 — stabilize & elevate
one class per week runs consistently. community forms through post-class hangs and referrals.
target: 20 active members.
raise professional standards of experience for the program.
week 4 — scale up
additional captains are added and classes expand to twice per week. marketing extends to leagues, rentals, and the facility network. target: 40–50 members.
week 5 — community engine
social events, referrals, and recognition drive retention and organic growth.
week 6 — advance scale
classes expand to three days per week, higher-tier memberships unlock, and the program reaches 75+ members, generating $8–10k/month in recurring revenue.

FAQ
-
most indoor facilities leave money on the field. mornings, midday blocks, late evenings, and off-season months sit underutilized, while revenue relies heavily on leagues, rentals, camps, and clinics. those models are seasonal, labor-heavy, and capped by space and schedules.
sphere unlocks a new adult revenue layer on top of what you already do.
we help facilities turn unused hours into a structured, gym-style membership built around soccer-inspired group fitness. instead of chasing one-off rentals or informal pickup, sphere consolidates adult play into clear class formats with consistent leadership, expectations, and flow—creating predictable, monthly recurring revenue.
this isn’t replacing leagues or rentals. it’s stacking revenue.
sphere converts:
existing renters and league players into members
sideline spectators into first-time participants
casual adults into consistent weekly users
low seasons into stable programming windows
all programming is fully standardized and branded, designed by 2× mls cup champion and 10-year mls veteran michael chabala, and delivered by trained captains so every session feels professional, inclusive, and elevated.
with 12 proven class formats, facilities can schedule intelligently, fill dead hours, and attract a broader audience—including women, beginners, and adults who’ve lost touch with the game—without adding overhead or complexity.
sphere works because it meets the market where it is today:
people want structure, community, health, and connection—not chaos, intimidation, or unclear pickup runs.you provide the space.
we provide the system.
you keep control of the operation.
we only win when you do. -

we help facilities create a gym- or boutique fitness–style membership built around standardized soccer-inspired classes. instead of unstructured pickup, players choose clear programs within a membership—so everyone knows the format, level, and experience before stepping on the field.
think zumba for soccer: your facility is the gym, sphere is the system.
we supply the branded gear, proven class formats, and launch playbook.
you own and operate the program, keep the revenue, and build the community.no long-term contracts. no fluff.
we only win when you do. -

-
for your first location, the sphere license fee is a flat $250/month.
this replaces a percentage-based model and keeps billing simple.
why $250?
it mirrors a conservative base scenario:~$2,500/month in sphere revenue
(50 members × $50/month)
equivalent to a 10% share, without p&l or accounting complexity
-
our team leads the charge using our proven playbook to take your facility from 0 to 100 members. from scaling to multiple days per week, adding captains, and expanding sphere program types, we support the growth of your location to ensure success. we work across your entire facility team—from marketing to ambassador programs—executing through our plug-and-play system.

we recommend weeknights between 6–9 PM and weekend mornings, as these are peak times when adult players are most available. however, many facilities have also seen success with lunchtime and early morning sessions depending on their community. check out our recommended class & time schedule
-
our most popular indoor classes are:
sphere 3 team game
our small-sided pickup format. think high-intensity 5v5 soccer that never stops. best for intermediate players looking to compete, get touches, and burn calories.sphere soccer fitness
our signature class. a soccer-inspired group workout that blends movement, music, and connection. perfect for all levels.sphere skill practice
our take on soccer practice and skill training, delivered as a fluid 45-minute training experience. designed so all players can take the field, regardless of skill or fitness level. -
yes. sphere at your facility becomes your new adult membership that you fully own and operate. the membership lives under your business, while sphere supplies the coaching training, class programming, and facility playbook—all under the sphere brand. think of it like buying a playbook: we give you the tools, help you run the show, and build your own community using our brand. we’re passing our sphere to help you score.
-
sphere modernizes adult soccer by creating accessible, soccer-inspired fitness experiences that allow more people to play—often for the first time or again after years away. instead of traditional leagues or pickup, sphere blends soccer, fitness, music, and connection to reach a much broader audience.
the result is real community. many participants say sphere is the highlight of their week because it helps them meet friends, build confidence, improve mental health, and feel connected—while still delivering a challenging, fun workout.
for facilities, sphere is a smart, low-risk way to create monthly recurring revenue. you launch an adult membership program that uses unused hours, attracts a new demographic, and adds a social, community-driven atmosphere to your space. you fully own and operate the program under your business, while sphere trains the instructors and provides the programming, systems, and facility playbook—making it turnkey to implement, market, and scale.
there are no upfront facility licensing fees.* sphere only succeeds when your program succeeds.
-
head captain (general manager of the program)
this role evolves over time. early on, some owners choose to run point themselves and manage 3–4 captains while the program builds momentum. once the program is stable, the owner empowers a proven leader who has shown trust, consistency, and ownership. at that point, we provide a head captain contract.head captain compensation (performance-based):
percentage of sphere memberships / revenue (typically 5%–50%, based on owner involvement)
scales at benchmarks: 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 members
(or approx. $2.5k / $5k / $7.5k / $10k+ monthly revenue)
this role grows as the program grows.
captain (coach / instructor)
captains are paid per class, similar to referees, and act as ambassadors for the program.captain compensation:
base pay: $10–$20 per class
bonus: $1 per player checked in (encourages promotion + accountability)
milestone bonuses at 25 / 50 / 75 / 100 classes coached
additional “good play” bonuses for leadership, reliability, and impact
think of captains like league captains: culture carriers, marketers, and leaders in the community.
-
no.
for the first location:the sphere fee stays $250/month, even as revenue increases
this is intentional to keep our take low and clearly show roi
once the partnership is proven and stable, we can revisit structure together — but the priority is momentum, simplicity, and value.
-
very minimal.
required / optional costs:
kickoff gear package (equipment)
music platform and speaker (if not already available)
captain certification: $30/month per instructor
you decide whether:
the facility covers the $30/captain fee, or
the captain pays it directly
(think of this like a referee or fitness certification license)
-
demand & marketing support
sphere is built to do more than run classes—we help create demand for your facility. similar to how zumba drives awareness for studios, the more people recognize sphere, the more they search for where they can play. that demand leads them to your location.
we support growth and long-term success through:
an interactive location map that directs players straight to your facility
local, in-market advertising to build awareness and interest
free saturday community sessions (seasonal) that introduce new players to sphere and funnel them into paid classes
collaborative social content that expands reach beyond your existing audience
standardized class formats and schedules so players know exactly what to expect
ongoing captain education to maintain quality, energy, and consistency
monthly resources and programming support to help retain members and keep the season flowing
incentives and bonuses that motivate captains to grow attendance and engagement
market-level leadership support as programs scale from launch to full schedules
direct founder involvement to help guide launch, stability, and long-term growth
the result is a system that continually brings new teammates into your facility while keeping current members engaged—without requiring you to build or manage the marketing engine alone.
sphere grows when you grow.
