first practice set up
-
1. choose a location
you don’t need a fancy facility to get started. pick a spot that’s open, safe, and easy for your crew to access.
locations that work great:
- rec centers with turf
- public parks with open grass
- indoor soccer facilities
- apartment or school fields
- open turf at sports clubspro tip: message us on slack and we’ll help scout a spot if needed.
-
2. pick your day + time
choose a time that works for you — consistency is more important than perfection.
recommendations:
- weeknights (around 6–8pm)
- weekends (morning or sun evening)
- aim for 60-90 min blockbonus: set a recurring weekly time for consistency
-
3. what to bring
your club package includes everything you need to run your first session. you’ll only be missing pugg goals.
gear checklist:
- cones
- mini bands (fitness class)
- sphere soccer ball (size 3)
- pinnies
- speaker
- pugg goals (or borrow from another club) -
4. promote session
once you’ve picked your spot + time, post about it.
tell your crew what to expect and how to join.
