how to value your sphere experience

sphere was built to bridge the gap between soccer and boutique fitness — not pickup games. we’re a premium, community-driven experience designed to bring connection, energy, and fun to the fitness space. when you lead a class, you’re delivering a product that deserves to be valued that way.

pricing your classes

  • open play (3-team games): $10–$25 per player depending on time and demand. keep quality high by capping spots around 25 players.

  • soccer fitness / skill-based sessions: $15–$25 per class. these sessions blend soccer movement and fitness — think of them as our “signature” practices.

  • fitness-based workouts (no ball): $25–$45 per drop-in. benchmark against studios like training mate, barry’s, or soulcycle — same energy, same value.

people value what they pay for. free classes can work during ramp-up periods, but your goal is to establish worth early and position sphere as a premium experience.

paying your coaches or captains

pay rates should match the type of session and motivate leaders to grow their club:

  • soccer-based sessions: $15–$25 base pay

  • soccer fitness sessions: $20–$30 base pay

  • fitness-only sessions: $30–$40 base pay

add a bonus: $1–$2 per player. for example, 15 players at $2 each = an extra $30. it’s a simple way to reward great energy and consistency.

building memberships

drop-ins are easy, but memberships build community.

offer an option like:

  • $15–$30 per drop-in

  • or $40–$75 per month for unlimited sessions (8+ classes)

this creates consistency, stickiness, and long-term growth for your club.

the takeaway

you’re not selling soccer — you’re leading a movement built around health, community, and connection. price your experience accordingly, lead with energy, and the value will follow.
